Mind, Body, Spirit

I work as a therapist utilizing counseling and psychology techniques, but I view the world through a neuroscientific lens.  I look at the why behind everything.  If there is no obvious answer, the pursuit of one becomes an unquenchable thirst.

Neuroscience-based Preventative Wellness Holistic Approach

My background lies in Neuroscience, Brain and Behavior research, neurodevelopment, and neurotoxicity. As my career progressed, I felt myself drawn to working with people and helping them, through the development of longitudinal relationships in the clinical space.

I work as a therapist utilizing counseling and psychology techniques, but I view the world through a neuroscientific lens.

I look at the why behind everything.

If there is no obvious answer, the pursuit of one becomes an unquenchable thirst.

I am passionate about the mind, body, spirit connection not because it appeals to my "crunchy granola" sides, but because the mind cannot exist without the body, and the spirit is often integral in healing the mind.

I view my clients holistically, because so often they come to me after bouncing around from therapist to psychiatrist to doctor without answers or help.

I want to see you.
I want you to be heard.

Your story is something I will listen to. I became passionate about holistic health and wellness models when several of my family members developed chronic illnesses and pain. Traditional medicine did not provide answers, despite us traveling to Yale, Johns Hopkins, CHOP, UPenn, and more. I realized that despite the necessary financial tenets of the current healthcare system, it was leaving a lot of people out in the cold.

Too many individuals were supposed to heal their bodies and get answers in the 11 minutes that insurance companies were allotting for their appointments.

My approach looks to develop balance in lives spiraling out of control. No trauma, thought, or fear is too big for me to bear -- I have probably heard more than you could imagine. You won't scare me.

While pursuing balance, I want to develop sustainable, achievable, measurable goals through a preventative lens. Instead of always fixing what is broken, I want you to have the tools in your toolbox to prevent your mind from breaking and sabotaging itself in the firstplace.

I utilize wellness models that are empirically backed, as well as the integration of holistic techniques when desired by clients that prefer a more autonomous approach to neuropharmacology, such as the integration of herbal supplements and aromatherapy and/or topical oils to stimulate neurotransmitter activity. I also provide referrals to local functional medicine, nutrition, adn chinese medicine practitioners when appropriate.
